Manuel Pellegrini pleased with Joe Hart display

Manuel Pellegrini says that he is pleased with how Joe Hart played for Manchester City against Fulham.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has hailed the performance of Joe Hart during his side's victory over Fulham on Saturday.

Hart had been kept out of the team for Premier League games in recent weeks, but made his return to the Citizens' lineup for their 4-2 win at Craven Cottage.

"I think he did well," The Mirror quotes the Chilean as saying. "It was not easy.

"The pitch was very quick and there was a lot of wind but I think Joe had a very good game."

City are currently a point behind leaders Liverpool in second place in the league table.
