Clint Dempsey, and Mousa Dembele return to Fulham's starting XI, while Jay Spearing replaces midfeilder Lucas Leiva and Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez partner up front for the Reds.

Martin Jol has recalled Clint Dempsey and Mousa Dembele following their bouts with injury for Fulham's clash with Liverpool at Craven Cottage this evening.

Winger Damien Duff has been omitted from the squad due to a calf injury, while Bryan Ruiz makes a return to the side.

John Arne Riise and Danny Murphy have been included in the starting lineup to face their former club.

Meanwhile, Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing makes his first start in the Premier League this season following Lucas Leiva's long-term injury blow suffered last week.

Andy Carroll has a chance to add to his goal tally as he leads the line with Luis Suarez for the Reds.

While Maxi Rodriguez was tipped to start for Kenny Dalglish, the Argentina international has a spot on the bench alongside Dirk Kuyt and vice-captain Jamie Carragher.
