Liverpool's Glen Johnson in squad to face Swansea City

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers confirms that Glen Johnson has returned to the squad for this weekend's clash against Swansea City.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that full-back Glen Johnson could feature in this Sunday's Premier League clash against Swansea City.

The 29-year-old was ruled out for an "indefinite" period of time last month due to a series of injuries taking their toll, but has been included in this weekend's squad.

"Glen has been back training," Rodgers said in today's press conference. "According to him, he has felt as good as he has done for a long time, which is great. He has looked very good in training and he'll come into the squad."

Jon Flanagan has been playing in the right-back role during Johnson's absence.
