Adam Lallana misses Liverpool's Europa League trip to Augsburg

Jurgen Klopp confirms that Adam Lallana will miss Liverpool's Europa League last-32 first leg against Augsburg with a calf injury.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Adam Lallana will not travel with the squad to Augsburg for Thursday's Europa League last-32 first leg.

The England midfielder has missed the Reds' last two games with a calf problem and will again sit out tomorrow.

Klopp did reveal that Lucas Leiva is back in contention, though, telling the club website: "Lucas is back fit but not Adam - he has no chance for Thursday's game."

Klopp also said that Kevin Stewart, who made his league debut as a substitute in Liverpool's 6-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Sunday, is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in training.
