Carlos Tevez: 'Juventus were uninspired against Hellas Verona'

Juventus forward Carlos Tevez says that he is disappointed with his side's 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona.

Juventus forward Carlos Tevez has said that he is disappointed with his side's 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona.

The Bianconeri had led 2-0 thanks to a first-half double from Tevez, but goals from Luca Toni and Juanito earned their opponents a point.

"I cannot be happy, even though I scored two goals. We drew a game we needed to win. We are Juventus, it's not a result for us," he told reporters.

"I'm only interested in winning the Scudetto, not scoring 20 goals. In the second half, we did not have the intensity and Verona had more courage.

"It's true, we were very uninspired, but it's not because we are mentally tired, you just have to work hard in the week as the coach asks."

Juventus are top of the Serie A table and lead second-place Roma by nine points.
