Pedro Leon reveals ongoing frustration

Getafe midfielder Pedro Leon reveals his frustration at an ongoing dispute with his Spanish club.

Getafe midfielder Pedro Leon has taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal his frustration at an ongoing dispute with his club.

The Spanish midfielder was not registered by Getafe at the start of the season due to the fact that his wages would have taken the club over the amount that they are allowed to spend.

Getafe wanted the 27-year-old to move on loan to Russia, but Leon rejected the move and as it stands, is still unavailable to represent his current team.

"As the days continue to pass, and neither the league, Getafe, the CSD nor the Spanish Justice are making it possible for me to do what I've been doing for the last 10 years," he tweeted.

"My thanks go to the FEF and AFE, who are the only ones who look like they want me to play at the weekend. The funniest thing about the situation is that I have not done anything wrong, nor have I committed an illegality towards my profession, but I am the only one who pays for it.

"I find it incredible that something like this can happen in a country where football is the king of sports. But lastly, I thank everyone for their continued support and goodwill."

Leon is said to be Getafe's highest earner in terms of wages.
