David Moyes says that he wants to win the FA Cup as well as qualify for the Champions League with Everton this season.

Everton manager David Moyes has revealed that he wants to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Champions League this season.

The Toffees advanced from the third round of the former by beating Cheltenham Town 5-1 on Monday night, and will now travel to either Bolton Wanderers or Sunderland in the fourth round later this month.

The Merseysiders currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, and Moyes is keen to qualify for Europe's elite competition.

"We'd like to win the FA Cup and we'd like to qualify for the Champions League," said Moyes. "Will any of them happen, I don't really know, but we're certainly going to try and have a go at it.

"But I don't think we have the squad, I don't think we've got the numbers in the squad. I think we've got 14 or 15 very good players, and lots of managers make the decision not to play their best players.

"I took a decision tonight and I hope it doesn't have any adverse effect in the future."

Everton host Swansea City in the Premier League on Saturday.
