The 19-year-old midfielder will remain with the League Two club until January 2.
Palace academy graduate Boateng made his senior debut for the Eagles in 2013.
The teenager spent part of the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Crawley Town.
Boateng's current deal at Selhurst Park is due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season.
