Chelsea plan to hold talks with Sassuolo over the future of Ivory Coast international Jeremie Boga, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly planning to hold talks with Sassuolo over Jeremie Boga.

The 23-year-old only made one first-team appearance for Chelsea before leaving for Sassuolo on a permanent deal in 2018 following loan spells at Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City.

The attacker has scored seven times and registered four assists in 24 Serie A appearances this season, which has allegedly attracted the interest of Barcelona.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Blues can re-sign Boga for £12.8m during this summer's transfer window, and the London club are considering activating the clause in question.

The report claims that the Premier League giants could even re-sign Boga this summer before selling him on for a profit and are planning to meet with Sassuolo to discuss the Ivory Coast international's future.

Boga's current contract with his Italian club will run until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
