Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Fenerbahce.
Fabregas is currently in his fifth campaign at Stamford Bridge, but the Spaniard has only played a bit-part role since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri.
The playmaker has just six months remaining on his contract - which has led to widespread interest in his signature - and according to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce are keen to secure a deal for the 31-year-old.
The report claims that representatives of Fenerbahce have travelled to London to hold talks regarding a possible transfer, and Fabregas is now able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club.
Chelsea are unlikely to give the green light to a deal in January due to their potential schedule over the next five months, and Fabregas has still made eight starts and five substitute outings in all competitions since the beginning of the campaign.
