Chelsea defensive pair David Luiz and Gary Cahill take part in first-team training on Tuesday.

Chelsea have been boosted by the news that David Luiz and Gary Cahill took part in first-team training on Tuesday.

The defensive pair have both been absent with hamstring injuries in recent weeks, and were deemed doubtful for the Champions League final against Bayern Munich on Saturday.

The duo took part in light ball work, according to Sky Sports News, and therefore could be available.

The Blues will be without defenders John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic for the clash with the Germans.
