Sports Mole looks at how Brazil could line up in Tuesday's 2026 World Cup qualifier with Argentina.

Brazil interim head coach Fernando Diniz has a big decision to make when it comes to his attack for Tuesday's 2026 World Cup qualification match with Argentina.

Vinicius Junior picked up a hamstring injury during Brazil's 2-1 loss to Colombia last time out, and the Real Madrid attacker is now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Gabriel Jesus is back in full training following a hamstring issue of his own, and the Arsenal forward is set to be in the squad for this clash, but it would still be a surprise to see him in the XI due to the nature of the problem that he has only just recovered from.

Instead, club teammate Gabriel Martinelli could go down the middle, with Rodrygo and Raphinha operating in the wide areas for a team that have lost their last two qualification fixtures.

Vinicius's replacement in terms of the XI could be Douglas Luiz, with the midfielder potentially brought in to strengthen the middle of the park.

Endrick, who is joining Real Madrid next year, debuted against Colombia, and the 17-year-old is expected to again play a part here, while Joao Pedro is another attacking option.

Ederson, Danilo, Eder Militao, Casemiro, Neymar and Richarlison are among those unavailable for selection, so Brazil are missing some key players, but they still have experience in the shape of Alisson Becker and Marquinhos.

Brazil possible starting lineup: Alisson; Emerson, Marquinhos, Magalhaes, Lodi; Guimaraes, Andre, Luiz; Rodrygo, Martinelli, Raphinha
