Bastia, Montpellier ends goalless

Bastia and Montpellier HSC continue their disappointing run of form in Ligue 1 with a goalless draw at Stade Armand-Cesari-Furiani.

Bastia have now gone four games without a win in Ligue 1 by drawing today's home encounter with Montpellier HSC.

The game ended goalless at Stade Armand-Cesari-Furiani, leaving the Corsican side six points off fourth place and La Paillade three clear of the relegation zone.

Geoffrey Jourdren was busy in the visitors' goal, but the best save came from Mickael Landreau to deny Souleymane Camara a winner in the 82nd minute.

It is a far worse scenario for Rolland Courbis's team, who are still searching for their first win under new management.

Their miserable run stretches back 10 games and they return to action after the winter break at home to AS Monaco, whereas Bastia face a trip to Valenciennes.
