Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman emerges as a transfer target for Barcelona, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly the favourites to sign Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman next year.

There was speculation surrounding the 28-year-old's future during the summer transfer window, but the deadline passed with the versatile forward still at Allianz Arena.

Coman has another three years left to run on his contract with the German giants, but he is expected to be on the move next year, as he looks for the next chapter in his career.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona are firmly interested in Coman, and there is a belief that a deal could be done for a figure in the region of €40m (£33.4m) during next summer's transfer window.

The report claims that Coman is currently focused on Bayern, but he accepts that his time with the Munich outfit is coming to a close, having been informed that he is free to seek pastures new.

Barcelona 'emerge as the favourites for Coman'

Coman has made five appearances for Vincent Kompany's side during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring once and providing one assist in the process.

The forward arrived at Bayern from Juventus in the summer of 2017, and he has represented the club on 299 occasions in all competitions, scoring 64 goals and registering 67 assists.

Coman has vast experience in the Champions League, making 60 appearances in the competition, scoring 16 goals and registering 17 assists during a strong European career.

The attacker has had an incredibly successful career in terms of trophies, meanwhile, winning league titles in France, Italy and Germany, while he lifted the Champions League in 2019-20.

Who could Coman replace at Barcelona?

Raphinha mainly operates off the left for Barcelona, and the Brazilian was strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou during the summer transfer window.

The forward is said to have rejected a substantial offer from Saudi Arabia in order to stay with Hansi Flick's side, and he has been in impressive form during the 2024-25 campaign.

Indeed, Raphinha has managed five goals and three assists in eight appearances in all competitions, and it is believed that he could be offered a new deal by the club.

Coman would not necessarily be a starter for Barcelona, though, so he could arrive as back-up down the left, as the fee for him would not be massive considering the current market.
