Barcelona 'not planning January signings'

Barcelona allegedly have no plans to make any signings during the January transfer window, despite suggestions of a number of sales being made in the coming weeks.

Barcelona are reportedly unlikely to make any signings during the January transfer window.

After a mixed opening half of the campaign, the Catalan giants have been linked with several big names in recent months at a time when outgoings are also expected at Camp Nou.

However, while departures may still materialise, Marca claims that Ernesto Valverde is currently happy with the strength of his squad.

The report suggests that the Barcelona manager intends to hand minutes to each member of his senior group over the course of the next five months.

Nevertheless, there remains interest in Arturo Vidal and Jean-Clair Todibo, with the club's hierarchy being left to weigh up the pros and cons of giving the green light to their exits in the coming weeks.
