Ronaldo: 'Brazil are reliant on Neymar'

Former Brazil forward Ronaldo says that his country are too reliant on Neymar.

Former Brazil striker Ronaldo has claimed that his country are too reliant on Barcelona star Neymar.

Ronaldo, who won two World Cups with Brazil, also believes that the South American nation 'do not have great players'.

"I believe that Brazil are living through difficult times, in every aspect," Ronaldo has been quoted as saying by Inside Spanish Football.

"The football reflects that. We don't have great players. We live with hope through Neymar, who is excellent, the best in the country, but in previous years we had more than one player to act as a reference in the team."

Neymar has scored 42 times in 60 games for Brazil, who exited the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup to eventual winners Germany.
