Barcelona forward Memphis Depay backs the Catalan giants to bounce back from their defeat to Bayern Munich and challenge for the La Liga and Champions League titles.

Barcelona forward Memphis Depay has expressed his confidence in the Blaugrana after their Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Ronald Koeman's side welcomed the German giants to the Camp Nou in the opening game of the group stage, and were handed a 3-0 loss courtesy of a Thomas Muller goal and a Robert Lewandowski brace.

However, Dutch forward Depay has backed his side to bounce back from that disappointment and challenge on all fronts this season, following his arrival from French side Lyon in the summer.

After linking up with former Netherlands manager Koeman, the 27-year-old marked his first three La Liga appearances for the Catalan giants with two goals and an assist, helping them to victories over Real Sociedad and Getafe.

As quoted by Marca from a press conference, Depay said: "The result against Bayern was obviously disappointing, we have to learn from the defeat and all row in the same direction to turn things around. I firmly believe that we'll find a way to fight for all of the titles this season. We're Barcelona and I want to help the club to turn things around."

The Blaugrana made an early departure from last season's Champions League, as they were handed a 5-2 aggregate defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16, while they eventually succumbed to a third-placed finish in La Liga after a late title push.
