Andres Iniesta: "Wembley is important to Barcelona"

Andres Iniesta reveals that Wembley Stadium holds special memories for his Barcelona side.

Andres Iniesta has revealed that Barcelona are eager to reach the final of this season's Champions League.

The final will be played at London's Wembley Stadium, a venue where Barca have won the competition on two previous occasions.

With that in mind, Iniesta has admitted that the ground is "important" to his team.

"Wembley is important to Barcelona because we won two Champions League trophies there," the midfielder told UEFA's official website. "We are focused on getting to the final but there's still a very long road ahead of us.

"Football today is so balanced out that's it pretty difficult to make it into the final and win it, but we take it with anticipation."

Barcelona get their European campaign underway on Wednesday with a home encounter against Russian side Spartak Moscow.
