Dani Alves: 'We will attack Paris Saint-Germain'

Barcelona defender Dani Alves denies that his side will adopt a defensive approach in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona defender Dani Alves has insisted that it is not in his team's make-up to curb their attacking style of football.

Barca currently lead Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 from the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, with the return leg due to take place on Tuesday evening.

It has been suggested in some quarters that the Spanish side will sit on their lead, but Alves has claimed that "showing personality and character" is always Barca's ambition.

"We set out our stall well on the pitch and displayed the personality that sets us apart. Showing personality and character and taking risks is the only way to achieve your goals in the Champions League", Alves told Marca.

Alves, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been strongly linked with a summer move to PSG.
