Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on 23-year-old Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo, as the Gunners seek out reinforcements at the back.

Arsenal have reportedly shown interest in young Croatian defender Josip Sutalo, ahead of a potential summer transfer.

Sutalo has come through the ranks at Dinamo Zagreb and recently became a regular in the Croatia national team, featuring at the World Cup for the Vatreni.

Sutalo is tipped to have a similar trajectory to his fellow international centre-back Josko Gvardiol, who left Dinamo for RB Leipzig in 2021 and has gone on to become one of Europe's most sought-after defenders.

The Evening Standard claim that Arsenal are tracking the 23-year-old, who is said to be valued at £18m by his club.

That is expected to be a much lower fee than what would be required to lure another of Arsenal's defensive targets to the club in Marc Guehi.

Given his recent England call-up and his lengthy contract at Selhurst Park, Guehi's club Crystal Palace are in a strong position to demand a higher fee for the man who has been ever-present at centre-back this season.

Following the injury to William Saliba in the latter months of the season, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is hoping to strengthen his defensive reinforcements as the Gunners will play Champions League football next season.
