Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be counting on two of his defensive mainstays being available for Saturday's Premier League lunchtime kickoff with Leicester City.

The Gunners have had to make do without Kieran Tierney for the past week with a bruised ankle, while Ben White - along with Pablo Mari and Martin Odegaard - has been the victim of a winter bug.

However, Arteta is hopeful that both men will be able to line up here, leaving Granit Xhaka as the Gunners' only confirmed absentee as he battles his way back from a serious knee injury.

Arteta is unlikely to consider many changes from last week's 3-1 success over Aston Villa should his key figures be available, with Tierney's return potentially dropping Nuno Tavares down to the bench despite his eye-catching display on Friday.

Paying homage to the Invincibles on Arsene Wenger's birthday, Arteta opted for an old-school 4-4-2 setup against Villa and could do so again here, with Thomas Partey and Albert Sambi Lokonga pairing up in midfield.

Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are nailed on to start on the flanks, with Odegaard facing another substitute outing after a somewhat difficult start to life back in North London.

Alexandre Lacazette's contributions against Crystal Palace and Villa have seen him force his way back into the first XI, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be out to score his first away goal of the league season this weekend.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Saka, Partey, Lokonga, Smith Rowe; Aubameyang, Lacazette
