Gabriel Agbonlahor feels that Christian Benteke possesses the ability to play at the "top level".

Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that his teammate Christian Benteke could play for a bigger club than Arsenal.

The Belgian international has been linked with a summer switch to the Emirates Stadium, as well as their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Agbonlahor has insisted that the 22-year-old has all the attributes to play at the very top.

"I think he's good enough for even higher than [Arsenal and Tottenham]," Agbonlahor told Sky Sports News. "He's showed that by the way he plays with his composure for a big guy and he has quite a bit of pace as well. There are many aspects of his game that are at the top level."

Benteke has scored 11 goals so far this season.
