Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Thursday's Europa League Group A clash with Bodo/Glimt.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should make plenty of alterations for Thursday's Europa League Group A clash with Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates.

The Gunners remain without Mohamed Elneny (hamstring) and Emile Smith Rowe (groin) for the long-term, while Cedric Soares's fresh knock may not heal in time for Thursday's game.

With this continental battle being sandwiched in between clashes with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, Aaron Ramsdale will expect to enjoy a rest as Matt Turner acts as the last line of defence.

Gabriel Magalhaes is unlikely to be afforded a reprieve, but Rob Holding is in line to come in for William Saliba, while Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko should make way for Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney.

Thomas Partey returned from knee discomfort to score a peach of a long-range effort against Tottenham, but the 29-year-old is set to cede his place in the middle to Albert Sambi Lokonga here.

Granit Xhaka will likely hold his place - the same can be said for Gabriel Martinelli - while Fabio Vieira should demote Martin Odegaard to the bench.

Marquinhos and Reiss Nelson are both primed to deputise for Bukayo Saka - the former may be preferred given that Nelson has only just come back from a thigh injury - while Eddie Nketiah ought to lead the line over Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Turner; Tomiyasu, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Lokonga; Marquinhos, Vieira, Martinelli; Nketiah
