Leon Rattigan bounces back to take wrestling bronze for England

Leon Rattigan wins gold for England in the men's 97kg freestyle wrestling event at the Commonwealth Games.

Team England's Leon Rattigan has bounced back from his earlier disappointment to win a bronze medal in the men's 97kg freestyle wrestling at the Commonwealth Games.

The British number one, who also won bronze at Delhi 2010, was defeated 8-4 by India's Satywart Kadian earlier today to end his hopes of gold.

Rattigan put in a dominant display in the final, though, and recorded a 12-2 victory at the SECC to see off Nigeria's Soso Tamarau.

Rattigan's wife Yana won silver in yesterday's women's 48kg freestyle.
