Kirsten Flipkens has booked her place in the semi-finals of Wimbledon with a 4-6 6-3 6-4 victory over Petra Kvitova.
Neither player could be separated in their opening two service games, before back-to-back breaks left the pair level at 3-3.
It was Kvitova who secured a decisive break at 3-3, however, before holding to claim the opening set.
Just the one break of serve occurred in the second set, however, with Flipkens moving 2-4 ahead before eventually drawing level at one-set-all.
Both players continued to serve well in the third and final set, but again it was Flipkens who secured the decisive break at 4-4, before sending the former Wimbledon champion out of the competition on serve.
