Sabine Lisicki clinches her first WTA title in three years with a straight-sets win over Karolina Pliskova in the final of the Hong Kong Open.

Sabine Lisicki has won her first WTA title in three years by beating Karolina Pliskova in the final of the Hong Kong Open.

The world number 31 lifted the trophy on Sunday after overcoming the Czech 7-5 6-3.

The German's last title on tour came back in 2011 when she defeated Aravane Rezai at the Texas Tennis Open.

Lisicki was recently knocked out in the third round of the US Open.
