Tennis legend Martina Hingis has been nominated for induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
The Swiss former world number one won five Grand Slam singles titles - including the Australian Open and Wimbledon at the age of 16 - nine Grand Slam women's doubles titles and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title.
The 31-year-old retired from the game in 2003 when she was just 22 because of ankle injuries, but came out of retirement three years later.
In 2007 Hingis quit tennis once again after she tested positive for cocaine at that year's Wimbledon and was banned for two years.
However, she maintained her innocence throughout.
Michael Stich of Germany and Helena Sukova of the Czech Republic too have been nominated for a prized place among the greats.
