Tomas Berdych admits that he faced a challenge like never before when taking on Novak Djokovic in today's China Open final.
The world number one made light work of his Czech opponent in Beijing, prevailing 6-0 6-2 to extend his overall record in the tournament to 24-0.
Following the match, Berdych was quick to hail the talent of Djokovic, saying that the Serbian is the best player he has ever faced.
"I met somebody in the final who I've never seen before," he told reporters. "I was just swept out from the court. I probably played maybe over, what, 600 matches in my career, and I met guys like Andre [Agassi], Roger [Federer], all those probably in their best times. But I have never, ever experienced anything like that."
Djokovic has now won five China Open titles in his career to date.
