Bernard Tomic has admitted that he found it "very difficult" to beat Philipp Kohlschreiber in the second round of the Australian Open earlier.
The Australian came from a set down to beat the 22nd seed, setting up a third-round meeting with compatriot Sam Groth.
The 22-year-old said on court: "It was very difficult. He was playing very well. I had to find a way to get out of it. He was destroying me. I had to dig deep."
It is the fourth time that Tomic has reached the third round in seven appearances at his home Grand Slam.
