Harlequins remain third in the Aviva Premiership after beating Worcester Warriors 42-26 this afternoon.

A strong second-half performance ensured that Harlequins registered a 42-26 win over Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership.

An early try from Chris Pennell put the home side ahead, but tries from Nick Evans, Tom Williams and Danny Care gave the reigning champions a lead at half time.

Alex Grove put Worcester back in front at the start of the second period, but Care completed his hat-trick and Mike Brown got on the score sheet to put Quins in control.

The visitors finished a man short after Tom Guest was sin binned late in the game, but there was not enough time for Worcester to reduce Harlequins lead.

The result leaves Quins third in the table, while Warriors remain ninth.
