Wales full-back Leigh Halfpenny has been ruled out for up to four months as he prepares to undergo surgery on his right shoulder.
The Red Dragons' head coach Warren Gatland confirmed that Halfpenny's Six Nations campaign was over after suffering a dislocated shoulder.
The 25-year-old, who is due to join Toulon at the end of the season, picked up the injury during Wales' 29-18 defeat to England last Sunday.
According to BBC Sport, Halfpenny, who is due to undergo an operation on Friday, is likely to miss his nation's summer tour to South Africa.
Scarlets' Liam Williams has taken Halfpenny's place in the Wales side for this Saturday's Six Nations match against Scotland.
