Scotland back Nikki Walker is to miss the World Cup through injury.

The 29-year-old damaged medial ligaments in his knee during Saturday's win against Italy, and was stretchered off as a result.

"It's obviously disappointing for Nikki," said coach Andy Robinson.

"We all feel for him but injuries do happen and you just have to deal with them. We wish Nikki a speedy recovery."

Robinson will name his squad to travel to New Zealand today (Monday).
