Result: Northampton Saints 23-28 Llanelli Scarlets

Rhys Priestland makes four conversions and scores a try as Llanelli Scarlets win their Heineken Cup match at Northampton Saints.

Fly-half Rhys Priestland was on good form with the boot to help Llanelli Scarlets record a 28-23 victory away at Northampton Saints this evening.

Aaron Shingler, Matt Gilbert and Liam Williams all scored tries for the visitors, all of which were converted by Priestland.

The 24-year-old also converted his own try in the 62nd minute to open up a 28-9 advantage at Franklin's Gardens.

Northampton's early score came from Ryan Lamb, who registered three penalties to keep Saints in touch.

They had to wait until the 67th minute for their first try of the evening, with George Pisi going over after the video referee had approved his effort. Lamb was once again in good form with the boot, converting Pisi's try.

Tom Wood then scored a stoppage time try for Saints, but it proved to be little more than a consolation for Jim Mallinder's side.
