Juan Pablo Orlandi joins Newcastle Falcons from Bath

Newcastle Falcons bring in Argentine prop Juan Pablo Orlandi from Bath.

Newcastle Falcons have confirmed the signing of Argentine prop Juan Pablo Orlandi from Bath.

The 31-year-old moves to Kingston Park following nearly two years at the Recreation Ground.

Orlandi admits that he had to continue his career elsewhere due to a lack of first-team action in the West Country.

"I've really enjoyed my time at Bath, and I've made good friends here and will take away some great memories," he told the club's official website. "I'm taking the opportunity to join Falcons now because I need more game time, especially with the World Cup fast approaching."

The Falcons are back in action on Sunday when they host London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.
