Five different players crossed the try line in a 31-6 win for Leicester, who go top of the table after taking 11 points from their opening three games.

Jordan Crane, Graham Kitchener, Blaine Scully, Dan Bowden and Thomas Waldrom all touched down for the hosts. Toby Flood and Owen Williams kicked six and three points respectively.

Meanwhile, a penalty and a drop goal from Rory Clegg was all that Newcastle could contribute to the scoring.

The Falcons have claimed four points from their first three matches.
