Tournament hosts New Zealand have recorded their second win of the Rugby Word Cup, destroying Japan 83-7 in Hamilton.
The All Blacks went ahead early on thanks to Conrad Smith, before five more first-half tries from Richard Kahui, Jerome Kano, Keven Mealamu, Andy Ellis and Colin Slade.
The second half continued to be a show of All Black dominance with Sonny Bill Williams going over twice with Isaia Toeava, Andrew Hore, Adam Thomson and Ma'a Nonu also scoring, while Richard Kahui achieved his second try to take his tournament tally to four.
Japan did get on the scoresheet when Hirotoki Onozawa stole the ball and ran for the line, with Murray Williams converting the try.
New Zealand next face France in Auckland on Saturday, September 24 while Japan take on Tonga on Wednesday, September 21.
