Brendan McKibbin signs London Irish deal

London Irish sign scrum-half Brendan McKibbin from Waratahs on a two-year contract.

London Irish have confirmed the signing of scrum-half Brendan McKibbin from New South Wales Waratahs on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old was part of the Waratahs side that were crowned Super Rugby champions last season.

McKibbin joined the Australian outfit in 2011 following a spell with Queensland Reds.

"I am delighted to be joining the club," he told London Irish's official website. "I spoke at length with Bob Casey (operations director) and I am looking forward to be a part of the setup. The facilities are hugely impressive and I'm really excited by the direction the club is looking to go in."

London Irish are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Scarlets in the LV= Cup.
