Tom Homer to leave London Irish at end of season

London Irish confirm that utility back Tom Homer will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

London Irish have confirmed that utility back Tom Homer will leave the club at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old academy product, who has made over 100 appearance for the Exiles, is out of contract this summer.

Homer has recently been linked with a move to Bath.

"We did everything in our power to persuade Tom to stay at the club, however, he feels that his future is elsewhere," operations director Bob Casey told the club's official website.

"We would like to thank him for his contribution to London Irish and wish him all the best for the future."

London Irish continue their European Challenge Cup campaign on Saturday when they face Rovigo in Italy.
