Toby Flood will leave Leicester Tigers at the end of the season and is "likely" to be moving to a French club, according to director of rugby Richard Cockerill.
In an interview before his side's heavy defeat at Saracens, Cockerill told BT Sport that the England and former Newcastle fly-half was be leaving Welford Road, claiming that his club captain confirmed the news.
However, Flood's current boss did not confirm the identity of his new club, but suggested that it was "likely to be in France.
The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to former Heineken Cup champions Toulouse, while the Tigers are rumoured to be considering a move to sign Gloucester stand-off Freddie Burns.
Flood took to Twitter to distance himself from reports that a deal with Toulouse had already been completed.
