Gregor Townsend targets improvement

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend insists that his team are "not the finished article".

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend has insisted that the team can still improve despite securing the 1872 Cup for the fourth successive season at the weekend.

Glasgow came out on top in a 21-17 scoreline against Edinburgh, but Townsend has claimed that they are "not the finished article".

"We know we're not the finished article. We've got a lot to work on - one is playing for 80 minutes, another is our discipline, which has got to improve. It's a continual process. We know we have to kick on now," he told Eurosport.

Glasgow were 16-3 ahead at half-time, but held off a late comeback from Edinburgh.
