Jack Clifford replaces Billy Vunipola in England training squad

Injured Saracens ace Billy Vunipola is replaced by Jack Clifford in England's 33-man squad for their three-day training camp in Oxford.

Harlequins number eight Jack Clifford has been included in England's training squad as a replacement for the injured Billy Vunipola.

Vunipola picked up a knee injury in club side Saracens' 41-13 victory over Sale Sharks at Allianz Park on Saturday afternoon.

Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall admitted after the match that he feared the worst for the 24-year-old, who damaged the same knee in England's meeting with Argentina 10 months ago.

The Red Rose squad are due to meet in Oxford today for the start of a three-day training camp ahead of Autumn Internationals against Argentina, Australia and Samoa.

Harlequins ace Clifford will now be among the 33-man group, with Vunipola expected to spend an extended time on the sidelines.
