Manu Tuilagi says that playing alongside Brian O'Driscoll for the British and Irish Lions was an "amazing experience".

British and Irish Lions centre Manu Tuilagi has described partnering Brian O'Driscoll for the side's win over Western Force as an "amazing experience".

The two were selected as the Lions' centres by head coach Warren Gatland for the 69-17 win over the Force in Perth on Wednesday, which saw the Ireland international pick up a brace of tries.

Tuilagi, who was making his debut for the tourists, was delighted with how the match went for the duo.

"It was an absolutely amazing experience, my first start and pairing up with the legend O'Driscoll," Tuilagi told Sky Sports News.

"He showed again the class of player that he is so it is an amazing honour to be playing with him on my first cap."

The Lions face Queensland Reds on Saturday in their third tour match.
