Bath boss Mike Ford lauds Saracens performance

Mike Ford says that Bath's game plan did not work following their defeat to Saracens on Sunday.

Bath coach Mike Ford has admitted that his side were "blown away" at times against Saracens on Sunday.

Ford's team were beaten 31-17 at Allianz Park, as Sarries maintained their 100% start to the new Aviva Premiership season.

"You have to be deep inside our camp to understand what we're trying to do," Ford told reporters. "There was a plan behind it. You don't throw any game.

"It wasn't great. We were blown away in the first half, Saracens squeezed us really well and we compounded one or two things. They played really well."

Semesa Rokoduguni and Dave Attwood scored second-half tries for the visitors.
