Wigan Warriors increase the misery for London Broncos with big win

Wigan Warriors crush London Broncos 58-6 to leave the capital side rooted to the bottom of the table.

London Broncos endured another miserable afternoon as Wigan Warriors ran home 10 tries in a comprehensive 58-6 victory at The Hive.

The Broncos have now suffered 19 straight Super League defeats and remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

Josh Charnley scored a hat-trick from the right wing in what was a dominant performance from the reigning Super League champions.

The Broncos defended well in the first quarter of an hour, before Charnley opened the scoring with a smart try on 16 minutes.

Tries from Matty Bowen and John Bateman extended Wigan's lead and Charnley's second of the afternoon made it 22-6 at the interval.

Anthony Gelling, Scott Taylor and Gil Dudson all found the line for the Warriors as they took command of the game, before Charnley completed his hat-trick on 68 minutes.

There was still time for a late cameo from Joe Burgess, who added two further tries from the left wing in the final minutes to complete another miserable afternoon for the Broncos.
