Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith wants his side to be more clinical following their 26-16 defeat to Hull FC in Super League.

Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith has admitted that his side needs to be more clinical following Friday's defeat to Hull FC in Super League.

The Wolves held a 16-6 lead at the Halliwell Jones Stadium before a late comeback saw the visitors take the points with a 26-16 triumph.

"I'm pleased with the effort we put in," Smith told Sky Sports News. "We weren't quite at our best in terms of handling but I can accept that. We just need to be a bit more clinical in these close matches."

The loss has left Warrington in fourth place in the Super League table.
