Hull KR hooker Josh Hodgson has revealed that he is relishing the chance to represent England at the Four Nations.
The 24-year-old, who will move to the Canberra Raiders after the tournament, has secured a place in Steve McNamara's squad after the withdrawals of James Roby and Michael McIlorum.
"I was a bit shocked, to be honest. It's a tough spot to get in is hooker - there's some fantastic English hookers in the league," Hodgson told Sky Sports News.
"I'm sure there are six or seven that could do a good job internationally so I'm honoured to be part of such a great squad.
"I'm not going to worry too much about who's not in the squad. Everything happens for a reason - I'm a big believer in that."
England begin their Four Nations campaign against Samoa next Saturday.
