Former Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese is set to make his WWE debut next month.

The 34-year-old, who also has six caps for Germany, made the switch from football to wrestling in late 2014 and has been training for his in-ring debut.

He made his first WWE appearance during a live event in Frankfurt shortly after signing, but he is finally poised to step into the ring.

According to The Mirror, Wiese will team up with established stars Cesaro and Sheamus in a six-man tag-team match in Munich on November 3.

They will take on recognised tag-team The Shining Stars, who will team up with Bo Dallas during a live event at the Olympiahalle in Munich.

Wiese made 386 career appearances for Fortuna Koln, Kaiserslautern, Bremen and Hoffenheim before opting for his career change.
