Kenny Jackett happy with Wolverhampton Wanderers' midfield options

Kenny Jackett says that he is "very confident" in the ability of each of his central midfield players, which he describes as a "strong" area of the pitch for Wolves.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has confessed that he has a big decision to make over his preferred midfield selection.

Conor Coady returns from suspension for this weekend's match against Huddersfield Town, while Dave Edwards is also closing in on a return to full fitness.

Jackett also has Jack Price and Kevin McDonald to choose from in central midfield, and he admits that much of his side's promotion hopes rest on the strength in this area of the field.

"We want to be as strong as we possibly can in all departments and try to have two players for every one position and if we want to challenge and be strong then that's where we need to get to," he told the club's official website.

"In terms of competition for the midfield places, it is strong and I'm very confident in all of those players. They all have different strengths. It can be a very good area for us if those guys can maintain top form."

Wolves ended a three-game winless run in the Championship last time out when beating Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage.
