Preview: Wigan Athletic vs. Ipswich Town

Sports Mole previews Ipswich Town's trip to the DW Stadium to play Wigan Athletic.

Wigan Athletic winger Callum McManaman is likely to keep his place in the starting lineup despite being at the centre of controversy in midweek against Huddersfield Town.

Manager Uwe Rosler has claimed that the 23-year-old has wrongly been labelled "a diver", and the German believes that decisions have started to go against the player because of an undeserved reputation.

Rosler has seen his team drop down to 16th position in the standings after failing to win in either of their last two games.

As for Ipswich Town, they have found themselves moving up the league table after back-to-back 2-0 victories over Millwall and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.

Mick McCarthy's outfit struggled during the opening weeks of the season, recording just one win in five league games, but six points in two games has moved them into the top half of the division.

McCarthy is unlikely to tinker with his team as he targets a first success on the road.
