Sports Mole previews the action from Wigan Athletic's visit to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth go into this weekend's Championship clash with Wigan Athletic looking to banish the memory of a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of Watford.

The visitors have played only once in the league this season due to their involvement in the Community Shield, which they lost 2-0 to Manchester United.

These clubs were two divisions apart last season, with Wigan relegated from the Premier League and the Cherries promoted from League One.

They were drawn against each other in the FA Cup, with the matching ending in a 1-1 stalemate before Wigan edged the replay 1-0 on their way to winning the competition.

Wigan go into the game on three points having defeated Barnsley in their only league fixture of the new campaign.

Sports Mole says: 1-3
